Why thank you, I'm glad you like this old work (:

I believe that back then ( probably around 2004-5, I only got to scan my old artworks in 2007) I referenced her from old archie comic book covers that were featured in the Sonic mega collection for the gamecube ( and possibly from a fan comic I was reading on the internet )
Now that I think about it , this actualy might be a nice pic to redraw eventualy.


Those are some pretty nice prizes. How many entries do you have by now?

Always a pleasure to find a golden oldie. Especially nice considering how hard a time I seem to have finding Julie-Su pictures that suit our group's gimmick.

Wowzers. With those limited references to look at, it makes your picture here even more impressive. I haven't played my Mega Collection in a while, but I remember it had A LOT of covers in its library! It's cool that the (presumably) Japanese-made game took the time out to acknowledge the American comics.

With how far you've come since this picture, it'd definitely be interesting to see you tackle Julie-Su again, if you ever have the time.

We have 4 entries in right now and about 2 or 3 other artists who said that they'd like to enter something, but haven't done so yet, nor confirmed that they would. At present, we have enough entries for a 1st place prize and 2nd place; we'd need two more to warrant a 3rd place.
