I've been wanting to do something like that since last year but I never got myself to do it untill now ( I had several scetches for it tho )you can see early versions of Moe on the top , sadly I wasnt able to find my very first version of her ( the early cat version of Moe is now redesigned and called Molly the cat , you can find scetches of her in this scetch collection [link] )
I'm not exactly sure when exactly I started drawing her , but it was around 2004
I always liked it to see how people's characters progresed over the years , so I hopw you enjoy the changes on Moe too
sorry for the big file size and the many images , butn it would look strange if I had so few examples for 08/09 while I have so many for 04/07 ;o

Wow, I love seeing how people progress and change in style and ability, and this is such a great example! I l ove how the outfit has morphed! I wonder to myself what influences you there. I have a hard time thinking up such things ^^

I'm not exactly sure what influenced me , but Moe's current outfit was original a concept for a rider style outfit , but I liked it so much I kept it untill today ^^

I wish I could come up with a riders outfit for Celeste that I like... Course to me, Celeste couldn't bew a rider. She'd wipe out constantly...hmm, bandaids could be part of it XD

I suggest you try to find something that could help Celest to do extrem riding , for example if her balance isnt good have her ride a motorcycle type of board instand of one where you have to stand on .
paying attention to such details usually helps me to come up with ideas ^^
so maybe try to find out how Celeste could use her strong points for extrem riding
after that I think thinking of an outfit will be easier ^^

Thats so true XD I did recently draw her on a hoer board but I kept thinking this is NOT in her personality, she just doesn't have the coordination XD So yeah, a bike or somethign would be better. Either that I could draw a funny skip of her crashing constantly!

And hmm...it seems like she likes to jump around from being in Sonic style to more of your own anime style and back again a lot in the years... I guess it's just the preference of the time, or was experimentation? o.o

and yeah , I kinda did jump from sonic style to anime and back
that was experimentation , but also because some of my friends when I first
came on the net were useing that style
now I try to keep realistic / anime style apart from sonic style
