Description
Promotional illustration for an indie game I'm working on with friends. We've got one 3D environment artist, two 3D character modellers (one of which has worked for AAA studios), two writers, one illustrator/concept artist (me) and one programmer (my boyfriend). I just wish life and work were more merciful on us all and let us finish the prototype in peaceRelated content

Ooh nice to meet you again on ArtStation
I hope you've been doing well! Super late reply because I've abandoned this account for a long while oops.

Messaged u via Artstation chat on 27th Sept 2017, but not sure if u received it! Hahaha was foraging back in here for memories' sake, re-saw your msg, and decided to throw another bottle out into the net ocean XD
Message was as follows:
"Dear friend! I've missed you, hahaΒ Β Yes, I've abandoned dA too - it was a blast, but, yea, we're professionals now, and artstation *is* the big leagues. Is artstation your main portfolio/art site now?
A lot of things have happened in a year - well, half a year. My textured Monk model managed to impress the folks at Bandai Namco Malaysia, and i'll be flying there for fulltime work starting this 1st Nov. A lot of things i didnt think would happen have happened; good things include finally doing relevant 3d freelances now.
How've you been? Last i saw, you were doing a kickstarter/patreon project..?Β Β I rmbr being wowed, but could not recall if it was a comic, a game or both."
// Fast forward a couple of months later -- yuppp, i'm happily working in Bandai Namco Malaysia now, and while the pay is msian dollar rates, i could'nt have asked for a more encourage start into the game industry! I truly love what I'm doing - 3D modeling, texturing - and hopefully once they see what i'm made of, mgmt will let me work some 2D art as well
I'm currently staying alone in a rented condominium room just ten mins walk away from the office, and life is good: i cook my own meals, tidy and wash up my own laundry, etc, and work on personal 2D/3D art pieces whenever i can. I'm repeatedly on-and-off trying to stay active posting art on Instagram (www.instagram.com/antiday_art/ ) but man, it's hard. Totally skipped Inktober 2017 too; was too busy making preparations to move to Malaysia back at that point in time.
How are you doing? DD Missing you and your art too! And it's kinda odd, cus i just checked, and i don't see your Artstation being updated.. is everything going alright?

I like the lights. Also, sounds like your team needs another programmer, one seems a bit low.

Thank you!
They're working in Unreal Engine and one of the others can program too - as far as I know they're good (for now ) but thanks for the suggestion!Β
