This is from one year ago, so now that Antika is being published by my Academy and I’m actively trying to do something about my output I guess it’s finally time to make the contents public.
More to come! Seriously... I have dozens of pieces waiting to be posted since the completion of the artbook (freaking November 2015).

About the project
Antika: the City in the Clouds is a collection of concepts and illustrations intended to give a face to characters, creatures and environments of a fictional world. My teacher created the story and rough guidelines for locations, events, alien species and characters, and I worked as a designer. Starting from his writings, I tried to create a visually interesting and believable world, expanding on the starting ideas and elaborating on every aspect of the world of Antika.
It was hard being alone on a fully colored 80-page project. It took one whole year and I missed working in a team SO MUCH, but I learned a ton about time management, discipline and of course technical stuff.
