The destructive side of Nature, foil to mother Nature as a loving creator .
I've been procrastinating this for more than one year. Needless to say, I was never fond of this. Dark colors are hard to manage properly! I'm being brave and just scheduling those uploads I really didn't want to take care of. Go me!
Hope you like it. Criticism is always loved

Aw man, this is sweet! I love the repeated rectanglesΒ  and the dramatic lighting. The textures in this are real nice too, and honestly, I really like the colours in this. So you balanced them super well

Thank you
I was experimenting with basic shapes and weird blending modes back then xD

I really love the square and rectangles all around this one, somehow these angular shapes did give out a destructive and industrial feeling that relates to being destructive!Β

Thank you! I'm so glad you think so - that's exactly the kind of feeling I was trying to convey I wanted to use circles for the nurturing one, but I didn't like the general effect so I kept it simple there.

I Β love the lighting around the face and the dripping detail on the chin.

Wow, thanks
I really really didn't like this one so I kept procrastinating. I'm sorry you had to wait! I'm trying to stop overthinking things. This piece is finished, might as well upload it! And, perhaps, remake it in the future

I know the problem with procrastinating all to well^^
Great that you overcome your doubts about this work and posted it anyways. Best way to improve is critizism which fellow deviants will surely provide. I do not understand very much concerning art I'm just in awe of what other people can do

You're right. Procrastination is sometimes a very complex mechanism, and it's so hard to get out of that nasty habit.
But once I gather my courage and post stuff, getting feedback reminds me I've done the healthiest choice after all

Hope you are getting enough feedback to improve the things you were unhappy.
Really enjoy the DA community for this specific reason. Never seen a hater or something around, everyone is here to enjoy art and helping others improve. That is rare on the internet unfortunatly.

Thank you! I sometimes get very useful comments. Feel free to point out things that look weird to you in my art, I'd love it! Everyone can contribute.
DA is pretty peaceful most of the time - it's too kind, in fact. It's not super common to get cricitism, but on the other hand I really appreciate the fact that trolls are relatively rare

Too kind? That really is a first-timer for me to hear such a thing^^
But I guess only comments like 'great' will not help improving.
If I find something that bothers me I will let you know but honestly I would not know what right now.
Thinking about it I really love the rectangles and squares that disturb the flow of lines, showing chaos of nature, yet due to the symmetry of the shapes also showing its consistency and uniformity in several things.

Exactly! Compliments are always nice, of course, but sometimes I wish people here were just a little more critical.
And thank you! I appreciate that
