First day of classes and Khodh was tasked with playing Pictionary! Shouldn't be too hard, he thought. The most challenging part would be conjuring up the magic, of course! Giving a low hum, his bell began to shimmer and glitter a bright yellow, his right paw doing the same. He drew some test stroke, trying to get a feel of how to paint on the air. It was... strange... but very satisfying!
The munchkins below him gave him a strange look, obviously waiting for him to begin drawing. An awkward glitter flashed in his eyes, the Auri thinking hard about a subject.
The forest! that should be easy! He thought once again, lifting his paw to begin drawing.
Stroke after stroke, the auri's hand flew back and forth, up and down. The area he was painting on glittered and shimmered with each new line. His heart boiled with determination, this was going to look, amazing!
...
"Stick in the mud?" One munchkin called out, their voice filled with uncertainty.
"N...no..." replied the pale Auri
"Oh! then it has to be broccoli, right?"
"n-"
"No it's cotton candy! Right?"
Khodh couldn't believe his ears. Where'd this strange answers come from? Doing a double take on his drawing, he could see that his creation... was frankly quite terrible! The aurii quickly became embarrassed, hiding behind his large hand tipped ears.
"I...it's a forest..."
The munchkins stared at the drawing for a while longer before bursting out into laughter. "Looks likes lollipops to me!" one of them exclaimed.
Khodh looked through his fingers, stifling a rare laugh. They were right! It did look like lolipop stuck in the ground! How silly!
Aww Khodh was just trying his best. it does look pretty trashy though XD
Had lots of fun with this! I always wanted to do an expectation v reality thing.
