Ahh beach day. The sun was up, it was hot. The perfect day for swimming. Marx bounded about, lacking his bow for he was ready to get soaked with some ocean water!

"Come on Basil, the water's nice!" Exclaimed a stranger. Marx immediately snapped his head in that direction, eyes barely able to keep up with the enormous amount of speed. He watched a new Shard step back into the sea water, a sly smile on her face.

"I wont come back to our spot unless you at least dip your feet!" He could see Basil retreat a bit, nerves clearly getting the best of them.

An idea popped into Marx's head, forcing a sly grin to slither its way across his face. He zoomed over to Basil, his expression open and frendily.

"Hey there!'

"Hey-"

"Wanna go Swimming?" He questioned, putting excess emphasis on 'swimming'. Basil pulled back once more, raising their arms in defense.

"Uh, no, I actually-"

"Cool, lets go now!" Marx grabbed Basil by their back, lifting the shard up and over his head. Satisfaction was painted on his face, his body reeling back in preparation for something wonderful.

With one great push he launched Basil out into the ocean, the shard disappearing farther and farther away.

"Nice throw!" the same stranger exclaimed from in the water, flashing him a thumbs up.
