A little "map", if you will, of the growth spurts of Ophidia; My OC of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Been wanting to lay out the full details of her character and timeline for a long time, and I've nearly completed what her life is like in the Present time! For now, enjoy a peek into her personality over the years:

Kid: As a child, Ophidia has a very alert and timid yet somewhat curious personality. It is likely her skittish nature is born from the unknown number of years she suffered under experimentation and cruel scientists; even with those she feels the most comfortable with, there is at least some modicum of wariness. Despite this, her attitude otherwise is quite amicable and friendly, traits that can lead to rare instances of physical platonic affection towards those she is most comfortable with.

Teen: As a Teenager, Ophidia’s former skittish/nervous traits are reduced nearly to nothing thanks in no small part to the immense energy inherited with her physical growth. Her personality is more hyperactive and cat-like, with her friendly nature doubling in size. By this stage in life, she has become strongly attached to those she grew up with(The Avengers) and on missions may value the safety of the members more than the completion of the mission itself. She is especially more attached to Natasha Romanoff and secretly seeks her approval on a constant basis, with a strong fear of disappointing her ever present in her mind. Her headstrong nature, coupled with newfound strengths she hasn't fully mastered, lead her to be somewhat clumsy on occasion.

Adult (Post IW): Severe Loss, as well as living with said Loss for three years straight leaves Ophidia in a more mature and mirthless mindset than her teenage years. She is often bitter about who she lost thanks to Thanos, and struggles with moving on in her life. She manages, well enough at least, to appear happier around the “family” she has that still exists. When it comes to protecting them or helping them, Ophidia is particularly loyal.

Adult (Post EG): The Loss of the one closest to her casts her down into a deep well of lasting sadness, but she manages the strength necessary to continue on with her life and be thankful for the sacrifices that returned her family to her. Though her personality is permanently more mature than her younger years, the mirthful nature of her youth surfaces frequently.
