This was an art project we had in art classes. The task was simply to choose a song and then illustrate to it. I listened to many different songs, and drew some ideas. But in the end I ended up with the song "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. A really beautiful song.<3
I drew this drawing three times. First one really rough sketch, using the colour blue to sketch with.
Then I used a light table for drawings, to draw on a new paper. Here I added more details. Using a pencil to draw with.
And then I used the light table again, to get the lines down on the paper. And then I started on the colouring. ^^
I did do some mistakes. And some of it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted. But oh well. x) *feels like I'm saying that about most of my drawings. OTL

Wahhhhhh! It's even more pretty in colour!! I think you did a great job on the colouring. I always love the way you mix up different tools to create your own stlye of colouring!
My one critique would be the shading of the tree, It looks a bit off... I'm sorry I have no tips on improving it though

Jeg bruker et lysbord som vi har i tegnesalen pΓ₯ skolen. ^^ Jeg har et lite lysbordglass pΓ₯ tegnebordet mitt, men jeg kan ikke bruke det fordi det er ikke noe lys under.

The atmosphere of this drawing was very relaxing when I looked at the WIPs, but colors do wonders.. in both good and bad. Using black on the shady parts of the bg was a bold move, and I think it makes the picture look a bit too murky, it contradicts the happy expressions they have. But overall your coloring skills have improved. Again!!
I think you've managed to create different looking textures well, and their skin looks really nice too.

Yes, about the shady parts. I was using my new watercolours. And there was two sorts of green. This really dark green and a really lime green.(tried to blend it together, but it just didn't want to go the way I wanted it too. D8 ) But then afterwards, I started using my old watercolours. So it got a whole lot of different mix. =w= I really wish I could turn back time and fix on that. 8D;;
