Description
Blood.Seeping slowly from two holes in his neck.
I see bitemarks.
My bitemarks.
I lick my lips.
Metallic taste.
He didn’t fight me.
Thought I wanted a one night stand.
I was just hungry.
He yelped when I sank my fangs into his neck.
His heart started beating.
He fainted.
Became heavy, but that was no problem.
I pushed him firmly against the brick wall.
Sucked him almost dry.
Blood is best when the heart is still beating.
It’s fresh.
The police won’t find anything after me.
Except for the bitemarks.
I’m a creature of the night.
Mysterious.
I’m on the prey again next night looking for more delicious blood.
I am a vampire.

*le gasp!* You haven't read Twilight?? Please, please, please tell me you haven't seen the movie. Seeing the movie just ruins the book, even AFTER you've read it. If you haven't already gotten around to it, I highly recomend reading it (I couldn't put it down) but I wouldn't even bother with the other books-- they just ruin the series. *weeps a Myers' amazing ability to put out a good book and then start sucking so bad, so fast* Seriously, she's like Rowling except faster.

Good work. I must say that you've really captured the feeling of the moment. Blood-lust is a truly overpowering feeling.
If you're wondering, yes, I am. If you don't believe, then I'm simply crazy.
Anyway, squishgreen's comment was fairly accurate, although I don't know what he has against Lycans. Sunlight is a problem because of eye sensitivity, although some have sensitive skin. Garlic can be a problem because of heightened taste and smell, although it's really just a preference (some love it, some hate it). Also, the water thing is pure myth, as are coffins and the reflection thing (no one bring it up, I can't stand that one.) Vampires are basically just another race of humanity, with a few minor differences (the need for blood being the main difference.)
Getting back to the point, great work, but I hope you don't see vampires merely as predators.
