Have you had this camera for long? What do you think about it?
I've been reading reviews on it for a while, and they differ greatly many are really good but some are absolutely terrible.
At the moment I am quite happy with my D3100, but I am considering this big boy as an option to upgrade in maybe 6-8 months (unless they release something new by then - something that doesn't receive such controversial feedback). Would you call it a good idea?

Nikon camera user level is very clear, therefore don't have much choice.
Just consider that you have the amount of funds available.
D7000 early does the focus on the flaws.
After two years later, and perhaps some improvement, I think.
However, Nikon the durable and quality is beyond doubt.

I've wanted this lens for a long time. I finally got a macro a little while back, but since I couldn't afford this one, I got the old 55mm 2.8 AIS micro. It only focuses down to 1:2 but I find that's fine, since I have the BR-2 adapter.

Sure!! I only like the Nikon D-type lens, because it can only be connected to the Macro Extension Tube.
