Part 1
1) added african/saharan great lakes system. The so called lakes as Chad, Maghreb and Fezzan were on Saharan teritory, but then they dissapeared and Sahara became desert. With these lakes Sahara is more steppe kind of biome, but Egypt is still surrounded by desert. The map was copied from the map of Ynot1989. His art has also biomes, recommend you to go in his gallery and watch. Truly masterpiece in my opinion.
2) Natural Suez and Panama channels. Did not want people to strugle by building these channels in my alternative world.
3) Lush green Arabian peninsula and extensive river system. In reading and watching articles about green Sahara, it was commonly said that Arabian peninsula was also green during those periods. I searched for undeground rivers in Arabian peninsula and drew them on Arabia. Althoug one may argue that Arabia peninsula was also more steppe biome, I want it to be lush green, since Western Asia in my world is the economic and most diversive center of planet.
