Description Just been down to Winchester in the south of England and I have to say it's a lovely little place - one of Albion's little gems. In the cathedral there's a crypt which has a statue by Antony Gormley (in my opinion one of our more interesting contemporary artists - [link] ) in it, so I had to get a shot.

Although you can't really see the crypt in this picture it is set in a floodplain, so the water sometimes floods the floor and the reflections are spectacular. Unfortunately, and despite our rainiest year in recorded history, the damn thing was bone dry, so I'll have to go back another time to see if I can get the perfect picture!

Photo resized, no other alterations.

In the meantime, if you have a chance to go there I would definitely recommend it, as long as you're not after a kicking night life! lol
