I seen and fell in love with the concept - so here is my entry for Neytirix 's contest >> neytirix.deviantart.com/journa…Probably my few watchers now fleeing in terror guessing what drugs I might took painting this - and they are right as ironically I actually loved working with this one
Also while a lot of details were not given I sort of humored it by turning it into a Tarot card; >> Ten of Swords <<
"In a general context, the Ten of Swords is not a good omen as it can represent backstabbing betrayal, badmouthing, bitching behind your back, bitterness and enemies. It is a Minor Arcana card of failure, ruin, collapse, severing ties, goodbyes and the final nail in the coffin of a relationship or situation. It can signify nervous breakdowns, chronic fatigue, exhaustion and being unable to cope. It can also represent hitting rock bottom, hitting a wall or being in a dead end situation. The Ten of Swords can also indicate someone playing the victim or martyr, being overly dramatic, attention seeking or exaggerating. It can also signify violence, attacks and curses."

Tarots are partially religious concepts by default and the character made me think of it so much so I tried to make it feel this surreal-symbolical as best as I could!
Also giving some meaning behind the character by the chosen Arcana, I thought from the character's name "deathpain" he could present well a bad omen arcana which is about failure, loss and so but not necessary death related like the Tower. I am super happy people enjoy it so much!

Oh my goodness. There have been a lot of gems in this folder, but when I saw this I was stunned— absolutely gorgeous, never minding the original design!! I can’t express how much I adore this painting. It’s breathtaking.

This one was such a huge fun really, the original design was challenging to find the right background which can adopt its colours to make it feel 'natural' in. Overall there is no really bad designs in this meaning it just "badly placed" one where the figure pops out too radically of its surrounding.
But then finding a -good- background for these colours was the real challenge, without muting down his colours
