I respect Anora as a smart politician, good at playing tricks, but she's lack of King level wisdom to lead the country, kind of short-sighted, what happen to the city elves, she couldn't do anything? seriously? my ideal ruler is Rowan but died too young, sad. And since Loghain approved myΒ character(F!Cousland) after we defeated him, for the better future of Ferelden, a powerful Cousland queen rules aside King Theirin would be much better than queen Anora or queen Anora+King Alistair.Β
It's just sad that I can't keep both Alistair and Loghain. but if Alistair gave up this point, that would be so not Alistair, then he will be sameΒ ruthless as Anora did.

I found it utterly amazing how the whole game they build it up for you to want to gank that bitch, then when it comes his daughter gets sad and he says "Daughters never grow up. They remain six years old with pigtails and skinned knees forever." As if his last words were, even though she's grown and queen she's still his little girl. Then you kill him, get his guts all over her, and I'm left thinking. "Wow, now I feel like a cunt. Well done Bioware."

Not enough love from the fanbase for the Mac Tir family.
Anora and Loghain are two of my favorite characters in DA.

Aww beautiful pic, even though I hate Anora, when I learned you could keep Loghain and your Warden alive I immediately spared him, screw Alistair's hate, Loghain's awesome

It only took tens of thousands of innocent deaths, tortures, and slave trades for me to realize it: but yes, Ferelden is in capable hands.
Hey, we could kill them both with one sword, while they're hugging!Β

As much as I despise Anora, I love how close she and Loghain are. I'm not rude to her for his sake. One thing that made me consider liking her was how she spoke of him.
I regretted killing him a little the first time when he did that sweet fatherly "daughters never grow up" comment, just because that showed another side of his character. I practically revelled in the fact that Anora falls to her knees beside his body, though. She recovers far too quickly though.

This is why you should always recruit Loghain . I loved him as a character and I never like killing him
. Nice drawing, especially nice work with the armour!

Oh, this is beautiful. I love Loghain, and for everyone who calls Anora a cold bitch I say she's a tough woman suriving in a world that calls tough women cold bitches. And you even got his armor right! I never get his armor right.

This is simply great and heartbreaking...
I love Loghain and Anora and up to this point have always taken him into my party - just can't kill this guy... especially not after the little story that Anora tells the Warden (the rosebush) - awww

Aww, I always thought their relationship is so touching. Especially because she has a statue built for him if he dies, and she visits it. XD

I can never bring myself to kill Loghain, esp in front of poor Anora. I normally go down the route of marrying Alistair and Anora off and recruiting Loghain. Well, unless my Warden happens to be an elf...
Great poses, BTW!

I can't say I particularly like Anora, but I respect her. And I absolutely love Loghain after reading The Stolen Throne. Holy hell I had tears from that. I can never bring myself not to kill him though, as I love Alistair too much. I may do a play through and let him live soon, however. Depends on where my character takes me.

There is a bit of the glimpse of Daddy's Little Girl if you execute Loghain in front of Anora in the game, and if you recruit him you get a sense of that from some dialogue, but it is so rarely seen.
I think a lot of people would categorize Anora as an 'Ice Queen' and they wouldn't necessarily be wrong, but I do like to think that there is indeed a Daddy's Little Girl in there, and this is shown touchingly so in this work of yours.
Fabulous sketch, and the posing only lends to the tenderness of a father who loves his daughter. Which to me, has a much deeper meaning than the titles of teyrn or queen could ever have. This is quite touching, definitely a big 'awwwww' from me.

I frigging hate Anora, and I think Loghain is sort of blind.
Nevertheless, this is a beautiful moment you captured.
It won't stop me killing him on my playthroughs, but it's still a sweet moment.

You should summon the force to prevent your Warden from killing him. It's actually pretty fun to have him as a party member. Not to mention the funny-ass banter between companions.

Thing is though, I still don't see slavery, torture and poisoning as being "for the good of Fereldan". I feel pity for the man, I can see why he did what he did. But in my mind, it doesn't excuse him.
Plus, I couldn't betray Alistair like that. Loghain had left Duncan and Cailan to die on the battlefield, at the mercy of the darkspawn (who are know for doing horrible, disgusting things to their victims) So that was, one of the kindest men Alistair knew, whom he owed his life, and his half-brother. Loghain also attempted to poison the only father-figure Alistair had; Arl Eamon.
I would have liked to have him in my party, but I couldn't excuse him, and he knew it.

I completely understand. If it wasn't for the sake of curiosity and achievements, I would lop off his head every chance I got.
He's a greasy, betraying, big-headed, (as in pride) unfaithful son-of-a-bitch. It's a little hard to to believe this is the same Loghain Mac Tir from "The Calling".
Besides, the Warden that spared him was a bitch. She slept with Alistair, romanced Zevran, then wed Alistair and Anora, made Loghain do the Dark Ritual, and continued exploring with Zevran.

*sigh* Ain't that true? I suppose one of these playthroughs I'm going to have to get off my high horse and not kill him, for the good of the achievements! xD
Oh god, that Warden sounds evil xD Alistair was just not having a good year.

If you don't do it for the achievements-- do it for the banter. Your party members are hilarious. He even talks to your dog. :3
Yeah. She was my second playthrough. She's not so much evil, as just... eccentric. She had a very loud attitude, but was sort of a softie underneath. She ended up sleeping with Alistair because after you make the decision to free Conner, (she punched Isolde out and slit his throat) he yells at you about saving them. She said something really mean, then when I later talked to him, it had an "apologize" option. You can tell where that lead. XD
