Description
It was when they all gathered for the revealing of the new summer uniforms. It may have been the afterlife, but that didn't stop the temperature from rising to obnoxious levels."Uh, Yurippe?" Hinata was the first to recover from the shock of seeing it. "You can't be serious."
"Of couwthe I'm thewiouth. Thtupid Hinata!" Now realizing how much the outfit would affect her speech, she removed one of the accessories for the time being. "This is the Battlefront's new outfit, just in time for our newest mission!"
The screen in the background dropped, displaying the title of their mission. Otonashi read it aloud to the group.
"Operation... Baby Boom?" The room was silent for nearly a minute. "That sounds awful, Yurippe."
"Let us begin the mission breifing!" She donned her official 'leader's beret' and sat down at the large desk, causing an audible crinkling sound.
"No, wait." Hinata raised his hand in protest. "I think we can all agree... I don't have to ask you guys, right?" He did a quick survey of the room, obtaining small nods from the various members in attendance. "Right, so... we all refuse to participate in this mission."
Yurippe was speechless. She never believed that her loyal followers in the Battlefront would ever disobey orders to this extent. Sure, it was to be expected from Otonashi, and Hinata would have messed it up anyway, but still.
"I think it's even worth staying in these winter uniforms a bit longer." Hinata continued, but stopped after a medium sized office chair nearly knocked his head off.
"Anyone else... wants to refuse to participate?" Even though they couldn't die, the sight of a pistol aimed at them struck fear in the hearts of the men in the room. "No, you don't have to say anything. I already know your answer."
Yurippe continued calmly. "I won't force you to participate." Hearing this, the men all felt some relief.
Hinata heard this, too. He had recovered from the head trauma and began to stand up. His efforts were thwarted when a slug, fired from Yurippe's pistol, pierced his chest.
"For your betrayal, you all have incurred a Penalty!" The men froze. What would it be this time? A month of hard labor? No water for a week? Only spicy curry for the rest of the year?
"Until the mission is completed, all men in the Battlefront..." A smile spread wide across her face. "...will be playing a game of Tag. Whoever's the demon at the end, loses."
"Is that all? Just Tag?" Otonashi said, feeling somewhat relieved.
"No. The point is that I'm gonna tie the loser to a bomb. I doubt even I could recover from something like that." Her smile refused to cease, growing more sinister looking with every word. "Oh, and there's a catch. The only way you can Tag someone is by killing them."
According to Yurippe's rules, the men would be forced to turn on each other until the end of the summer, or possibly later. "That'll teach you to betray me. I suppose Hinata's the demon, since I killed him. You got all that, Hinata?"
A weak hand rose up from the seemingly lifeless corpse of Hinata, flashing a thumbs up. "Good. Now get lost."
The men fled, knowing that Hinata's death had bought them some time. But he would recover quickly, and their fear would grow once more.
Meanwhile, Yurippe had returned the pacifier to her mouth. "Mission stawt, I gueth. Wet'th go, Shiina." Shiina, who had spent the whole meeting staring at the puppies printed on the diapers, nodded. This would be an all female mission.

I CAN STILL WRITE.
Not much else to say, though. I don't think this picture turned out as well as Elie, but it's definitely more adventurous. Plus the eyes! I feel like I'm starting to get good at them.
Yurippe and other characters are from Angel Beats! and are copyright Jun Maeda and some other people too.

Happy ending???
Are we talking about the same Angel Beats? That ending was a tearjerker! Sure, the epilogue right after episode 12 made it better, but the end of that episode was so sad! Plus the musical score was so emotional which didn't help!
