Description
I hope this somewhat makes up for not submitting any art recently, it's been hectic at school.
Due to the lack of art for the film "12 Years A Slave," I decided that it was my duty to draw something for it!
This is the scene in which Patsey begs Solomon to end her life after getting to a point where she just can't handle all the abuse and suffering that has been brought onto her.
I hope you guys like it!

Everyone has their breaking point.
All humans have emotions.
And this tugs on my heartstrings.
Beautiful.

From Chattel Slaves to Wage Slaves we are all in bondage to a master. Β Nice work, a refreshing meaningful work that rises above the humdrum.

I haven't seen the whole film myself ( Only a few scenes in the movie theater before my friend's mom caught me and took me out of there ) But from what i've seen and have read about the film, it's INCREDIBLE. Though I should warn you it has a lot of violent scenes ( the whipping scenes are terrifying ) and is emotionally draining!
Aw thank you, i'm always glad to hear from you!

(sucks you couldn't finish it )
I can handle violence as long as the characters and story are good and balances it out well
I can take emotionally draining; I'll make sure to watch it when I'm in a good mood
It's great to see stuff from you too!
