In life, something that we all long for, deep down inside, is to be accepted and loved for WHO WE ARE. Not what others want us to be, not what society tells us to be, not because we are dressed the best, and not because we are the smartest, but for who we are RIGHT NOW. In spite of the fact that we are not perfect, in spite of the fact that we mess up, in spite of the fact that we are not the best at anything in life, in spite of the fact that we don't know everything, we still want to be loved. Don't we all?

If someone we love does need to change, remember to approach the subject delicately, and that it can be extremely hurtful for that person to deal with. There is a correct approach to take with every individual situation; however, starting off with a good relationship that is based on loving that person for who they are is a great start. You'll be amazed at the difference it can make. Aren't we all slightly flawed? Don't we all feel a little insecure? Wouldn't it help us if we knew that someone loved us, even though we aren't perfect? Is there really such a thing as a perfect person? I don't believe that there is. Couldn't we all improve in life? Before we start deciding that others should change, let's begin by looking at ourselves in the mirror and seeing if there is something we could work on inside of ourselves. Sometimes the best way to positively help someone change is by setting a good example. Now go out and love people for the beautiful, individual, flawed, and diverse human that they are, not for who we think they should be. Remember, nobody is perfect, and they probably think something in you could change too.
