I like this. The way the shadow is on the face and how the body is turned away from the camera both say a lot for the piece. I also like the colors.

Concerning the title and category I don't really see the expressive part in this.
Talking about the structure it might have helped to use a flatter angle for the light to pronounce the skin structure a bit more. Right now it just burns the little shadows that create the perception of skin structure.
If it was the earrings you wanted to show you might think about using a second spot with dampened light to show them a bit more.

my intention by labeling it "structure" was to elude to to the focus on the back as physically expressive, expressing emotion through the body rather than the face. i didn't say what emotion, because that would be too easy for the viewer. i like to let the viewer decide much of the meaning and purpose for themselves. as for the earrings, i thought i'd mention them as they were a gift from a dear friend, and i like to promote his work. that didn't really have much to do with the focus at all, otherwise i might have called it something like, "adornment", to signify the image's true focal point. but thank you.
