Description

What do you do when you can't decide on a character's eyecolor? you remove their eyes, of course. But I quickly liked the idea of she being blind anyway.
And it's official, I have a sparkledog character . As you may imagine, I came up with her while looking at the clouds, one cold afternoon while laying by the lake's shore. I actually made her ref sheet shortly after Fierro's, due to being busy, though I'm going to take some time until introducing her to the Roleplay. In any case, I'm excited to play this little girl!! I only want to finish some owed art and a few RL duties before it, haha. But yeah, I'm done with a couple of them, so time to upload the ref

Initial Age: 9 months
Gender: Female
Breed-base: Her anatomy, save for the long snouted face, resembles that of a Pekingese or a Chin.
Abilities: Her nose can emit yellow light at will (Intense enough to lit up around her ratio, but has no effect in other’s vision).
Under the extreme fear of losing her life, her entire body flashes an intense white light for an instant, this one may blind an opponent for no more than 1 minute (and she will be unable to flash again before 30 minutes passed). The opponent must be standing 2 feet (0,6 metres) or less away from her in order to be temporally blinded. The flash is involuntary, and only an extreme fear can trigger it.
Physical Strengths: Very fast and agile. Thick fur coat can offer a little protection if she falls or clashes into things.
Physical Weaknesses: Physically weak, her bite force is low, and her bones are fragile.
Blind. She frequently bumps into objects and other dogs, being especially prone to this (and getting hurt in the process) when she’s running fast.
Height/Weight: Height: 8 In/0.2 metres-4,5 kg/10 lbs.
Personality: Friendly, curious, active, hardworking, and surprisingly loyal. She is glad to be given active tasks to do, and loves to prove herself capable of doing her job, despite her vision impairment. Very scaredy when confronted face to face.
Cleptomaniac. She will take the object and run away, and unless the stolen item has an actual use for her (e.g: being edible), she’ll drop it shortly after, as she is not interested in keeping the object, only in taking it. If a stronger dog chases after her, she’ll drop it after a while, and dramatically apologize about it. She tipically goes after items with a strong scent, or that make any sort of sound.
Despite her open welcoming attitude, she is very little empathetic, and other dogs's feelings mean nothing to her. Regarding the Circle, she's only interested on the labors towards the goal, not so much on the goal itself. In fact, it's easy to say the only dogs she ever genuinely cared about are her long lost "Granny", and Noble. When facing coflicting views from others, even ones she considers to be very wrong, she won't take offense from the opossite and bluntly call their flaws out, no matter the other's rank. She coinsiders sadness useless, and doesn't practise it.

Her usual cheery and playful attitude may make her look alot younger than she is, and even in her adulthood she's often confused for a puppy at first sight.
History:Born part of a very numerous litter, her (single) mother abandoned her after weaning, in front of a building where she knew a pack of dogs lived. Little did her mother know that said pack was a band of thieves, who quickly noticed the pup’s glowing nose.
The thieves took her in and raised her, and she was eventually given the duty of standing still in the distance, by a safe way out, giving light signals to the others in the indicated moment, especially when they had to quickly flee in the dark. She, in the other hand, grew quickly bored of her role and wanted to participate in the assaults. For that reason, she began leaving her spot, often noisly catching up to the others, which spoiled their plans in more than one ocassion. For this reason, she was eventually kicked out of the band and is now wandering alone.
Other: She’s microphtalmic (her eyes are abnormally small and atrophyated)
When she steals, she thoruoughfully explores her path first, takes the item and then runs back in the same direction, in order to minimize the risk of bumping into things. In case of emergency, she may change the path and run slower, with her head lowered, in order to minimize damage.
She doesn’t think stealing is wrong, for she considers, with no actual malice, that, if she was able to take it, the object is rightfully hers. She is, however, very well aware that most dogs don’t appreciate being stolen from.
When in front of an emotionally hurt dog, she can be supportive by being inclussive and welcoming, but she is completely unable to give any sort of advice or show empathy, she’ll just invite him/her to play and tell dumb jokes.
Likes: Jingling sounds. Lapping dew from grass and leaves. Friendly dogs. Funny stuff. Actively helping in any group project. Playing with others. Excercising. Silly jokes. Open spaces. Noble.
Dislikes: Large irascible dogs. Rotten or otherwise decayed food, she’d rather starve than not eat fresh food. Having nothing to do. Not being able to socialize frustrates her greatly. Not feeling useful in a group activity. Inactive roles. Being ignored. Being alone. Sentimentalism and emotionality. Enclosed spaces.
