I consider Toon Link to be a less annoying, more ignorant Red. Plus he talks really weird when he gets hit on the head, but that joke's already been done. Ness, while a good kid, is for some reason friends with Tink. Makes sense I guess...the only other Smasher his age (Lucas) worships Ness, so it'd be hard to be friends with him.

yeah,I thought Ness and Lucas were, like, nine or eight. but THIRTEEN!? I didn't expect that and I was horrified. Toon Link is only twelve, That makes sense for sword fighting, though I have a legend of Zelda based character who sword fights at age five...

Well, Toon link's faster, doesn't shoot fire arrows (that's all young link shots) and he's not the younger form of link. there are loads of Legend of Zeldas and most of them have a different Link each time
