Description
A picture I drew of Chesterton's little mystery-solving priest at the beginning of this year.The 52 short stories written for this character are slightly different than others; they're more practical and even supernatural in a way. The things Father Brown says are closely similar to the quips Chesterton often made.

Thanks! I've been looking around for that movie, actually; all I see are old VHS tapes, but I think there's a British DVD re-release of it. Alec Guinness as a priest is omgkawaiidesu, especially his little glasses.

i got a copy from a kind youtuber who ripped it off the vhs... i've never heard of a british dvd re-release!! i actually have a copy i ripped off the dvd he gave me on my other laptop (which so happens to be broken and in the shop), just have to wait for the hard drive to get swooped onto my external one.. but i would be happy to send you the file if you want it!!!
alec guinness as father brown is pure magic... i can't take the adorable, man....

The British re-release is pretty recent. I did find a few clips on Youtube, but nothing else. Alec Guinness is just how I pictured Brown to act, too.

Really good pencil work in this. I like how his outfit and the umbrella came out. The face and expression came out good as well.
