You can really feel the smug sense of superiority and snark in her expression. Loving your picture of Tanja Stark!

The creases in the shirt are really well done. The detail. I'm oddly captivated.

That would be your opinion The clothing choices are based on the outfit worn by Tony in the Avengers film.

If it bothers you, perhaps you should read my headcanon , seeing as that's what my interpretation is based off

That's cool. I'll admit, I'm struggling to understand why you would click and comment on something that's clearly marked as rule 63, but each to their own Thank you for the initial complement.

Personally, I do it because I find it interesting to consider how certain situations would play out had the character been a woman, and whether or not there would be a significant personality change. The lack of female heroes in the MCU is pretty obvious, and as Natasha Stark is already Marvel canon, this is more about considering how she would appear, rather than just genderswapping Tony. I really really wish Marvel would hurry up and do a 3490 comic, NGL.

I see... there are a fair few women in the marvel universe. I mean ive a poster with all the avengers on and theres a good quantity of women on there. sure theres more men than women but theres plenty hero gals. Personally Im more towards there should be more equallity in the MCU. more african american heroes, more gay and lesbian heroes ect. But as you said. to each their own. thanks for the insight.

Yep, this is exactly why I was specifically talking about the MCU in regards to the project

I never really understood why folks, not specifically you btw i dont know you, but from what Ive seen so far, I dont get why fangirls that enjoy pairing male/male and such enjoy drawing said males as females. But then, I'm a gay guy so I probably figure my own opinions are why I dont understand xDD but hey, free world 8P XD

*shrugs* I'm not a slasher, so I guess I don't really get it either. I don't ship couples because of their gender, I ship them for their personalities. Also, for some reason I'm only fascinated by genderswapping Tony, no idea why. People like what they like, and if I don't like it, then I avoid it. There's no rhyme nor reason to why we like what we like, as is proven by my inability to uncover why I'm not interested in exploring other characters as the opposite gender, whether that be male or female

lol fair enough. Im the same with pairings. if they dont click, it doesnt happen. also, just to point out from before that there are a lot of female heroes in MCU [link]

I was talking about MCU, not the Marvel Multiverse (my comment about 3490 was an addendum, not part of my original intent, I've been reading comics for over twenty years so I'm fully aware of the number of superheroines in the Multiverse). So far the only female heroes to appear in the MCU (in hero form, anyway) are The Black Widow and Sif. I'm not counting Betty Ross, because she's not Red She-Hulk in The Incredible Hulk. Arguably, Peggy Carter, Maria Hill, and Pepper Potts all could be considered heroes as well, but the MCU has so far been dominated by men, both heroes and villains.
At the end of the day, the whole point of fandom, fanart, and fanfic, is for fans to enjoy the things in the way we want to enjoy them. Rule 63 is something that some of us enjoy, whether it be for legitimate reasons, or just because it moves our furniture in some way

XD nice way of putting that last part. Well again, I dont mean any of this in a 'you cant do it' kind of way, im perfectly fine with people drawing what they wish and as i initially said its a lovely piece youve done. And yknow its nice to actually have a conversation like this that doesnt derail into some self defensive arguement, so hard to have a good debate with people sometimes so thankyou XD And I get that, I kinda classify peggy pepper ect as side characters but i get what ya mean. I do agree there should be more heroines, but at the same time should also be full equallity, and not the stereotypical types either.Hopefully with equallity on the rise it might start happening in future comics 8)

Oh, totes! I'm glad to see that they're bringing Sam (Wilson) in to CA: TWS, and I kind of hope that if they cast a Janet, then they'll go for Ults!Janet rather than 616. I guess it's kind of hard when you start talking about sexuality and gender identity, because Marvel has to toe this fine line between being respectful and progressive, and then also ensuring they don't alienate so many of the fans that helped to make the films popular in the first place *cough*dudebro fanboys*cough*. At the end of the day, it's a business, and if there's one thing I've noticed about a lot of comic fans, they find it hard to understand that the MCU is an entirely different universe to anything they see in the comics.
FYI if you ever get into any kind of dialogue with me, you'll never find me being agressive and/or inflammatory. I'm all about everyone sharing their opinions in a respectful manner! Your initial comment sparked this off, simply because it felt a bit like a backhanded complement, but I think that was just my interpretation of the way you worded it <3

Ah my appologies for the initial reaction, I didnt intend it that way, the gender bending has just been something that's intrigued me for a long time, I never really understood why people do it. Initially I thought it was people trying to give a reason for a certain character to date another. ie Tony with Steve and Tony becoming Natasha just so it isnt gay. Now I know why it happens, though I'm willing to bet that gender bending does happen for that reason in some people also. Sorry if I initially offended you, wasnt my intention at all. 8)

Oh no problems at all, the internet's a hard place to convey inflection. And you're totally right, there are plenty of people who genderbend for the sake of their OTP (and it goes both ways too, sometimes it's so they ARE gay). I'm just more interested in gender identity, particularly considering that I myself, identify with both genders on an psychological level.

I'm a FTM so I get the feeling there XD
and yeah, it happens for many reasons I guess. To explore it is fine and what not but to do it just so a character is gay... just no, I mean c'mon... some points I'll agree with but others just ... ridiculous xD

lol, yeah I get your point. But then also, I think fandom is a place where we can all explore our quirks and kinks. There's plenty that I find completely unfathomable, but others seem to absolutely love! I know I'll never understand it myself, so as long as nobody tries to talk to me about it, I'm happy being ignorant. When people talk at you about stuff you really don't care for... that's when things get frustrating.
