Just like in the movie, I like how Stark deals with this- he's just calmly waving a peace sign, looking relieved but exhausted. Now we just need a blond assistant, shedding a few tears over his long lost boss.
I think the arc reactor looks like it's in about the same place as MCU Tony.
It just doesn't always look exactly that way in the comics.

Well this is an MCU based project, not a comics based project, and I think it's important to make that distinction as they're not anywhere near the same universe. Also, in my gender swapped universe, Pepper is still a woman

I'm glad you said that about keeping them separate. I enjoy the movie and comic universes equally, but it seems like sometimes the fans are so divided that it's almost criminal to appreciate each universe on it's own.
Anyway, are you planning any more in the series? Liked the idea

Yes, I am but I have a lot of other stuff on, primarily a standing expectation that I do 3-5 new pieces for MediAvengers every week so this project is on the backburner. As for comics vs films, at the end of the day, MCU is not 616 or 1610 or any other universe, and I abide by this strictly. I get very frustrated by people who try to compare MCU with comics, because we don't really compare 616 and 1610, do we? I actually write for a comic review site, and have written columns about this exact subject. I try not to bring comics into MCU discussions/fanart/fanfic and vice versa, simply because it's not really relevant

This isn't in reference to Pepper's armour in the comics, it's literally 'That time Rhodey rescued Tony in Afghanistan'. I assume that's what you're getting at? I think it's important to remember that the MCU is a completely different universe than all the others
