Description
OCT TIME
First time, but I'll try. Cutting it close this time, though.
Name:Wilson Wheeler Nelson
Age: 23 Years Old
Gender: Male
Height: 5’ 8” (Five feet Eight inches)
Timezone: 1966
Location: 1966 AD, Mid-Cultural Revolution Johto
Personality: The formal one, Wilson has always been told to act as if Arceus himself had come down from the heavens. Always the one for melodramatic movements, he often bows and curtsys and whatnot when greeting one. His speech is always littered with “Sir”s or “Madam”s and the other talk and he’s always been the type to prove chivarly is not dead. However, outside of this, he enjoys marveling at stars and the night sky, and is always looking for a fellow psychic to converse with. He is bashful though, and often has to be pushed by his pokemon to socialize.
He enjoys reading, good glasses, and weak drinks, as well as the idea of legendaries and the like.
Wilson detests things such as slobs, or those who have protective suits always on (rather rude, if you ask him.)
Brief History:
In his society, Wilson was always an outcast. That was pretty obvious. At the height of a “Revolution” brought up by Team Rocket, of all people, olden customs and beliefs, like Psychics, were spat upon. To be psychic alone was a curse, a burden, a life of solitude in a hollow bell tower infested by rattata and the like. His powers of telekinesis were what brought him to the seemingly abandoned building in the first place, dumped on the doorstep like a lost puppy by his parents, his protectors. He was six.
Soon, though, the refugees in the tower took him in, though still suspicious of the child, and his so-called “training” began. He, issued a “starter” of a foreign pokemon, was soon haphazardly taught in the ways of Lugia in an almost obsessive manner by his people. He learned to watch and listen to the local grazing pokemon, and eventually talk in a simple way to the local psychic pokemon. In fact, the night he had his first conversation with a nonhuman, a few shooting stars streaked across the sky, which brought him a sense of, say, importance in his life. Of course, as he grew older, he did realize that the “psychics” that lived in the towers were no more than a cult, and that their powers were nothing more than smoke and sparkles and cheap parlor tricks. In fact, they almost seemed to relish a genuine psychic in their facilities. Soon after, his trip to the nighttime lavatory ended up in him slipping in something-or-other and falling down the metaphorical “rabbit hole” to a world that was seemingly as logical as the madmen who had him there.
Misc: The boy’s powers are extremely limited, probably due to the fact that he was taught by a cult and not a real center. Telekinesis is basic enough- things moved are covered with an almost pinkish energy and are accompanied by hand movements. He can only move things that are in visible range, and even then those need to be well-defined and no larger than, say, a dictionary to be hovered across the room. However, he can drag chairs and the such around, granted that he could do it with his bare hands. His communication with pokemon is also limited as so- he has to be comfortable with the pokemon and know them to a basic extent to be able to swap words, and even then he is easily confused. If the pokemon is psychic as well and of able intelligence, though, they should be able to have a basic conversation.
Name: Gladys
Gender: ???
Species: Elgyem
Moveset:
Miracle Eye
Psybeam
Magic Coat
Shadow Ball
Ability: Analytic
Size: 2’ 4”, Head skims just above Babar’s waist
Personality: Alienish, the elgyem is always hovering by it’s trainer’s side almost obsessively, and is often seen copying Wilson’’s actions in an attempt to learn more about him. Often you will see it just staring into space, lights on his fingers and eyes glowing in almost random ways.
Brief History: On the night of the starfall, a young psychic named Wilson reached out to a fallen stone that had crashed just outside the boundaries of the forest, only to have it unravel and latch onto his hand. Even though it was seemingly made of stone, it almost felt like nothing on his hand, and eventually took to lurking outside the young psychic’s window at night, glowing and humming slightly as it spun and played outside, lights flashing like stars. Wilson was never able to understand the little alien completely, as it would often just stream out complete gibberish when he tried to speak to it.
Misc: Wears a little jacket of the same material as Babar’s, markings are somewhat similar to the kinds around ruins.
Name: Leno
Gender: Male
Species: Bayleef
Moveset:
Aromatherapy
Magical Leaf
Heal Pulse
Grasswhistle
Ability: Overgrow
Size: 4’11”, Reaches just below Babar’s shoulders
Personality: Docile, more cowlike than anything. If one was to talk to the animal, the conversation would most likely be about sleep, sleep, and more sleep.
Brief History: One of the many grazing pokemon in the area, Leno was always curious about humans, and they were curious about him, it seemed. Granted, he was a different sight than the vulpix and girafarig in the area, but he wasn’t that bad- he tried his best not to eat too many plants that looked important, and he was always nice about not smelling too bad. One day, when a younger boy was outside, the then-chikorita snuck up on the child.
At least the panic only lasted for an hour.
However, the pokemon watched the boy ever since, and now they’ve ended up together in a town, so that’s nice.
Misc: Acts as the healer of the group. Very friendly.
Name: Mary
Gender: Female
Species: Musharna
Moveset:
Moonlight
Syncronoise
Telekinesis
Dream Eater
Ability: Forewarn
Size: 4’ 1” tall, 4’ 9” across
Personality: Always in a semisomnid state. Always a bit groggy, but still makes most of the rational decisions of the group. A bit motherly, a bit sisterly, a bit like the best friend he never had.
Brief History: Mandated pokemon given by the Temple he trained in, Mary was always a little groggy, a little tipsy at times. She evolved shortly after Babar planned to escape the temple.
Misc: Her smoke is a bit like an appendage, has about the same reach and power as Wilson’s.
