Description
A dark version of the green Chaos Emerald from the original Sonic the Hedgehog series. I made it as an avatar.

I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator's 3D Bevel tool and Photoshop CS3's styles filters and Gradient Map. The emerald actually has a slight gradient under the map to make the difference in light, but it doesn't show up because I'm sneaky like that...

This one is definately my favorite. The color is also my favorite, I think.
