STORY BELOW (Look I know it should be snowing and all but I started this comic a while ago before the snow so that's why)

The air felt fresh and crisp. Fall had quickly fallen upon Wynsiph and winter was only so far away. Damien padded along the barely definable trails that was his guide in the forest, a book balanced on his back. Only a little further and he'd reach the spot.

The spot in question was one of the most comfortable places to read in the forest, at least as far as Damien knew. Taking in a deep breath he leaned against the tree and began to read.

Images of himself in armor fighting unknown foes flashed in his mind as he quickly ravaged the pages. Magic duels, monster fights, evil vanquishing. It made his mind bubble with delight. He would have stayed their for hours until a sudden rustle caught his attention.

A white and gold head popped out, eyes wide. A puckoo! And a very beautiful at that. It was marked with darker gold that was covered by a lighter dapple on top.

Suddenly it's face scrunched up and next thing Damien knew it was jumping right at him. Eyes wide he screamed and ran farther into the woods than he's ever before.
