belated christmas present forshe wanted a gryphon enjoying the spring, because we're both already sick and tired of this idaho winter

Very nice piece. The choice of colors are very soothing but still eye catching with the small pops of pink and the yellows at the top. I also love how you did the highlighting. Just the smallest marks in the right locations gives this piece much more character and really does make you think of spring. The way that you rendered the feathers is also very nice-just enough to let us know what it is without being overly detailed and distracting. That you left the branch plain too is fun, because it puts more emphasis on the gryphon. Bravo! C:

Yeah, I hear that everyone is getting sick and tired of winter. After today's weather, there's about an inch or two of ice EVERYWHERE. Couple of the schools here are already saying they're gonna start later.
Brilliant job on this! Reminds me of my cats and me in the hammock in our orchard during the spring. Oh I hope it gets here soon! It's too darn cold right now. Here I'm the one complaining and you guys over there are getting the worse weather, I'm sorry.

I hear ya'll there 'bout this winter crap. I live in Wisconsin and I swear it has snowed every... stink'n... day... for the last two and half weeks here. I hate driving in snow! And the temperature is never consistant. It'll be warm like it is tonight and raining ice, and 12 hours later it'll 10 below. Last Tuesday it was so freaking cold, Montana's eye was frozen shut... I had to steal one of my older brother's hand-warmer pads to thaw it open. And then by Friday we had rivers of melting snow running every where. OY! And then there's the snowmobilers... Argh! 
*sigh* Moving to Hawaii sounds better'n better every year. It's like, forever spring there!

This is awesome! It makes me wish for spring even harder. In South Dakota, winter is long, frigid, and usually windy. I really shouldn't even start thinking about spring until late March at the earliest.
The feline legs in this piece are sooo beautiful. I was immediately drawn to them. I almost can't believe the amount of relaxation you managed to portray. The drooping right wing is a great touch. And the feather detail.... whoo, what can I say, I love this. :3

X3 Over here in Oregon, it's just a weird winter. We got snow, but it then just RAINED and we've been having wind storms with that rain, all the snow melted away for a few days, and now it's snowing again! XD This is the oddest winter I've ever had! lol

I used to be a fall person, but now I like the spring. And I loved winter back when we got snow. Me and my bro would go out and build epic sled ramps all the day long. Now it' just cold enough to be miserable, but not cold enough to get any real winter weather.
