I've been wanting to update this one since I mastered my marker technique. I gave the original to Peter S Beagle when I had the honor of meeting him so I had to redraw it all over again. I enjoyed it though, gave me a chance to make some improvements. Quote is from the book, The Last Unicorn, and visuals inspired by the movie. Ballpoint pen and markers. Oh my gosh I love her dress! you have this beautiful coloring style too! It's like sort of watery like watercolors and it fits amazingly with the gothic theme/style. The only thing I would say is that she is too short/it's impossible for her foot to be peeking out there. It took me awhile to notice the foot anyways, so I'd just cover it up. That way it looks like her body goes off the border, which it looks like anyways.
I love Amalthea and the Last Unicorn too! This is really amazing. Your shading and dress texture is very well done too!
I like using copics too, but mine never come out like this haha. Yet another beautiful piece
