Description This is an experiment in high key composition. I like how it came out in the end. It took forever to squeeze the trigger, in part because it took quite a while to "see" the shot, but also because I didn't have much film and didn't want to bracket. So I over-exposed from my meter by 1-2/3 stops, and hoped.

Sensia 100 slide film.
Taken in Germany. September, 2003.

It's a wonderful shot!
The only thing i would complain about is the first window being cut on top!
Nevertheless is a great pic

Simple but nice. The plant's vivid color contrast the white very well.

hm.... I like this a lot (the thumbnail does NO justice to this photo!)....

I would also appreciate if you could have tried a little more composition play, and I'm questioning myself about the border because it cuts a bit of the plants, which are the heart and soul to this photo...

but then again, the borders' what brings it to live.... hmmm... I'd say you really got a good one here, because it makes me look right at it, looking, thinking...

More windows to peek into, you are a peeping tom arn't you?

I think the slight over exposure works great here. Too bad you did not
have enough film to play around with the composition more. This
one seems a a little tight on the top and bottom. That being said,
the frame works quite well to help focus the viewer on the
important aspects of the shot. Nice work!

Beautiful, Joel! I love the repetition and the spray of vivid color from the plants. The border is also kinda nifty
