Description
I really personally like this shot. It took a while to get it from the right spot, right focal length, with the sun not quite blowing things too far out, but enough for effect.Philadelphia, 7-May-2005.
---
Very little post processing. Some levels and a selective blur to smoothen things out in the sections just before the blue gets blown out. (Which is also intentional.)
[Edit] - Thanks to constructive comments, I decided to crop a bit off the left. Thanks folks!

Not at the moment. In case I make one, what resolution would you like? I'm assuming you'd want no border on that, right?

My computer usually is online 24 hours/day and I have keep this site opened (3 days or so, since it was made a DD) just 2 make a nice comment, fav this work and give you some devwatch, but... now after 2 days of cleaning my message center from all updates that my friends did I am so tired... I have responded 4 all those 130 messeges that I've had and even more 'cause that photographers were still updating! Awww... O.o
So don't be angry if I will just give you a devwatch and fav this piece - I think that you have heard enought from other ppl so...
PS. This message was copied by me few times so don't be mad when you will see the same words under somebody's else works ;(

Fantastic shot! Great angle, perspective and compelling geometric composition. Excellent lighting control which led to a nice, subtle value gradation. And what a beautiful contrast between the striking blue and the black lines!
Congrats on the DD...very much deserved!

There's a game called "Rez" for PS2/Dreamcast, it's a music game where you shoot things and it creates a musical sound. The second level's song is called "Protocol Rain" . The boss of that level/song looks alot like this photo. Great photo aswell.

Heck yea it's the ceiling in the middle of the Liberty Place mall in Center City Philadelphia. I goto school at the Art Institute of Philadelphia so I see it all the time. Recognize this -> [link] or this -> [link] or this -> [link]

I do recognize them! In fact, I've stood on the median in exactly that spot. Philadelphia is a wonderful crazy city, and amazingly photogenic - 'cause you can always point the camera away from the big ass pothole and focus on the architecture. I just did a count, and more than 30 of my deviations are from various Philly spots.
The one I pointed to is, as a print, one of my favorites, as is my shot of some of the bridges across the Schuylkill. [link]
