I forgot to upload this animation test I made few months ago. Just like with the previous animation experiment, I wanted to try capturing the fluid movement while also trying to sync it with "Pogo - Forget" song. I was also studying another animation with the meme dodging, hence the choice of the song xD. And of course I would use the Girl form my webtoon Descend for this purpose.

I started with the green sketch and well, it didn't turn out well at all. It's fascinating to realize that I don't actually have true sense of movement despite all the dynamism in my drawings. I though think that if I just worked more on animating, I would likely develop that sense.

So after the first crude version, I went with the "joints as circles method" which feels most natural to me. Once I can see the depth and direction, it becomes easier to adjust the circles along the smoothest paths.

I recall I used 12 fps as the frame rate so I animated the circles in 1s (i.e. every frame), total of 16 frames. Then on next step I animated only 2s, i.e. half as many frames by using only a few lines.It's not quite in sync, but it's good enough for the purpose I did this.
