The Pagani contribution to the nascent Outer Systems Federal State Navy (OSFSN) would come in the form of its logistical support; The Wayfarer-Class Armed Tender. Redesigned from an existing in-system merchantman, the Wayfarer-Class would be refit with a OSFSN-compatible faster-than-light drive as well as rapid docking and coupling modules that allow it to transfer military material and ordinance both between itself and between the other various ships of the fleet. As illustrated, Pagani ship design tends towards a trilateral symmetry and is generally suitable for planetary landing and launch allowing these ships to also act as troop transports and planetary logistics facilities as well. They are armed but their own systems are limited to short-range and interdiction type engagements; Point-defense and anti-fighter roles. This will be the first military foray for the Pagani, even inside their home system of Mirayn - their corporate-style government largely eliminated internal large-scale warfare as unprofitable even before outside contact. That isn't to say war isn't good for business, they simply prefer it to be someone else's war...
