This group of photo's are all from Strome's Ferry (area) just outside of Lochcarron, Scotland. This town is in the North West Highlands not far from the Isle of Skye.We spent a wonderful week in a very beautiful little cottage called Tigh na Creaga. If you every have a chance to spend some time in this area this is an incredible location and a lovely home; this place was perfect ... and more!

Never grumpy for too long ... except at my computer! And it is really a love/hate relationship. Can't live without it, can't throw it out the window (no pun intended ... although not a bad one if it were

You should ... it took me many years to get to Europe but I am addicted now. I love to travel ... anywhere. The U.S. has some wonderful places to visit as well but I am trying to get my looonnnnggg distance traveling done before I get too old

That actually sounds like a great plan. Travel is very good for the mind, and i guess, people are too occupied sometimes, and when they WANT to travel, its too late...

I would love to visit France as well ... I have so many places I still want to see! But if all goes according to plan I may make it next year (hoping to do the Cotswold's, England and Normandy and Brittany all in one trip).
Hope you make it to Scotland ... it is certainly worth the trip. An amazing place! I have Celtic ancestry as well
