Description There was a window in a stairwell in Hadrian's Mausoleum in Rome ... I played with this. Spider webs are so fascinating and especially when they catch the light just right.

The photo of the window is not the best... it was very dark and I was in a hurry to take it before a million tourist got in the way (those pesky tourist ) but I liked it so much I had to do something with it.

Last piece in my "Fire Series".

I like the colors in this one, did you change the original colors from the photo? They're really pretty.

The webs and light give such a cool effect, nicely done!

i think you can't use thumbnails out of the thumbshare forum or journal, that might be why

That makes sense ... I looked in the help section but nothing there. Well at least I know now and won't try again ...

Yes ... the original was not nearly as dark ... if you are interested you can see it here

Most of the colour comes from a photo of a campfire and the spiderweb was from (you guessed it ) a picture I took of a spiderweb () and a lot of delicate hand drawing... fun though!

Thanks again for all the comments ... it is so nice to get feedback.

Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my piece The Open Room.

I love the lighting and the colors. It's a lovely shot and the shadow of the spider web is really well done, nice attention to detail. I don't know, I just really like this Great work!
