Geez I definately wanted to enter the contest, but I guess that my entry didn't turn out as good as I wanted o o; There are already similar color shemes for Lillith you know?
In any way, it was a lot of fun once more, I love coloring =ShadowSinty 's lines *v* And yeah, this time I was quite fast as well. I started yesterday in the evening and finished it today before school, that didn't happen in the last 3 years I guess. But now I have to get back to my real work list *starts inking =Rina-the-Arctic-Fox 's Birthday gift*.
Hmm... in any way, back to the color sheme I chose o o I couldn't imagine her completely in white, so I gave her a more brown-greyish furr and a really light pink hair. To give it some contrast and fitting colours I made her clothes black and red - fitting for a vampire I guess - added some random pattern. And then there are those gems~ I wanted it to be moonstones, since I somehow love them x3; That's why they have this orange-blue gradient, since my moonstone has a similar color ovo
Uh yeah, last week I bought the first volume of Elfen Lied (Manga) and I tried to make a background like on the cover with a dark, pinkish sky and some clouds and so on you know? ^^' In the end I added a latin poem and it's English translation which I found with Google. I somehow liked it, but right now I get the feeling of it not fitting the character
I'm not sure though... Probably a song text from a band would've fit it better *still in concert mood* In any way, I don't know what to write more right now so I'll just shut up and start inking Acid and Luna lol Please don't forget about Rina's and my Contest either D:

yeah! you're right, did you learn of yourself how to shade and light?
as for the lineart, me I don't have a tool for it, so I do it by the hand, so the result isn't as great as yours.

yes, I taught it all myself. I learned the most stuff by just trying everything out o o tutorials somehow never work when I try them out ;A;
I use the Pen Tool for inking, it's avaiable from Adobe Photoshop 7 on ^^

me it was a fireworks one...it works well too, but to do a SA2 job, this I wasn't able to reproduce it

oh o o I understand. Well firework is one of the most hard things to do D: I usually use brushes for it, since it simply looks better as if I'll do it all on my own o o
