Sometimes I just can't help wondering why these noble animals keep up with us. They allow us to ride them. They try their best to do what we ask even though we kick and pull at their mouths when they could have just thrown us off and kicked us to death if they wanted to. Sometimes I just feel we underestimate what amazing animal this truly is.Soft pastels on Fabriano paper- 30,5 x 41cm

I agree completely. When I ride I take it as a gift to be in the presence of these creatures, let alone be so close to them. I consider it as a thing of give and take, trust, change and friendship. There's something about moving as one with a horse, but another to see them in the wild, free from any restraint.

Wow, that's stunning... really, color, shading, it looks so realistic and it makes me feel the spirit of those noble animals : D I really like the description, you are right. And I can add that people, for example when it's war, just ''use'' horses for their needs, and even it sounds terrible, they really take care of them, I mean - majority of warriors but not all. Ow, God, you are incredibly talented !
