Description
Just for the sake of it I decided to try and use the LDD to build a Toa Mata. I believe I succeeded.I suppose you could say I just got tired of the generic body skeleton that's been used so often and have just been challenging myself to make more original and complex builds. The build however, is not entirely original; I got the leg design from this .
I also tried to make more Toa Mata, but because the LDD only has Tahu's mask, I wound up creating a series of Herobots that just happen to look like the Toa. Because.
The story here is that the HF planet isn't all a Utopian robot city; the rest of the planet is full of environments only the most daring bots would dare tread; in other words, great hiding places for HF's Most Wanted. To counter this, Gregor Vortex [inspired by something undisclosed he encountered while on his secret mission] elected to create security bots who would tirelessly patrol the various terrains and keep them free of villains.
The bots would be specially created to not only endure each specific environment, but also to some extent manipulate it. These robots were built during his mission and kept a secret (so that villains could not extract such security measures from the minds of Heroes) though success was not found until the E-20 model. Most prototypes prior couldn't sustain their own power. Each current one has not a quaza core, but an 'Elemental' core that gives them greater cohesion with their respective environments. The Pyro Unit is the most basic but arguably also the most powerful, able to use it's flamethrower weapon to manipulate fire and either drain and release almost any amount of heat from withing a 100 foot radius. It can also withstand extreme temperatures that most Herobots cannot as well as fly small distances thanks to the jet boosters in the back of it's legs.
However, while functional, the Pyro Unit was not a complete success, as it has shown signs of... independence.
