Being left-handed is sometimes quite irritating... u__uHow many of you are left-handed?

When I was in junior high school, on one art lesson my teacher brought her chair and sat next to me, so she could amuse herself by watching how a left-handed person will engrave (in one work, we had to engrave)
That was... awkward...
But she wasn't mean to me.(to ME... but how she treated people, who didn't like to draw, is a different thing... )
And on my last birthday, my mom didn't let me put whipped cream onto my cake, because "it looked so difficult"

I'm a leftie and everyone still gets surprised if I go up to write on the board. I want to be a smart butt and turn around and say, "Is thaat a problem with all of you 'right' people?" As far as we know, I'm the only leftie on my dad's side

yepp, happens a lot, grew up in a small town were everyone knew each other, and still the teachers seemed to be surprised when they saw me using my left hand -_-. still happens sometimes ^^Β

I'm ambidextrous and I understand. My dad sometimes say I do difficult thing. I don't mind to switch but certain areas are difficult to reach with one hand or the other when you have to clean.

lol there were about thee left handed people in my class this year and I noticed right away but the rest of the class took like like half of the school year XD I'm the only left hander in my family so I know how it feels

It's called Lefty's Left-Handed store (pretty obvious name XD) but when I went this spring, I was in HEAVEN! It was so cool because they had shirts with famous left handed people and mugs that spill your drink on you if you hold it the right handed way

I'm actually Left-handed too, and I wonder are lefties better in drawing than righties, in my class, it seems I'm the most skillful artist, and I prefer drawing things from my imagination rather than taking something in real life and paint it, I draw on paper, whenever I feel like it, and I even draw on my computer, I was thinking about posting my drawings into Deviantart, but they looked simple and east to draw and really really small, and I kinda got embarrased, and, I don't know how to post my drawings into Diveantart, but, what am I gonna lose, I can't keep my collection to myself.

Fortunately, there were always scissors for lefties when I was at school and I myself own scissors which can be used by both left- and right-handed people (scissors like this [link] ).

Yet, it's strange how people say that left hand is "evil", yet I'm left-handed but I love doing good, so I don't really believe what they say, and surprisingly, my best friend that I consider as a brother got forced by his parents to write with his right-hand, which made me sad for him because he wasn't accepted for being left-handed in his family.

I'm left handed and I still don't understand why it's so special! In class my reading teacher looked over my shoulder and said "your left handed! How do you do that?!" And I'm like uhh... Ok and I have good reflexes anything else u want to know? Now that I look back on it I got really lucky because he didn't give me detention.

My grandfather was the only other left-handed person in my family, and he always got a kick out of sitting next to me at the dinner table and reminding me that I was the only person in the family he could sit *next* to and not worry about bumping elbows.
