Being left-handed is sometimes quite irritating... u__uHow many of you are left-handed?

When I was in junior high school, on one art lesson my teacher brought her chair and sat next to me, so she could amuse herself by watching how a left-handed person will engrave (in one work, we had to engrave)
That was... awkward...
But she wasn't mean to me.(to ME... but how she treated people, who didn't like to draw, is a different thing... )
And on my last birthday, my mom didn't let me put whipped cream onto my cake, because "it looked so difficult"

Whats wrong with left-handed? Sure, if I stare at them work with their left hands too long I get disoriented, but I still don't see whats wrong with leftys...

Well, there is nothing wrong with leftys, in my opinion (Well, because I'm one too), so I also would like to know why some people find left-handedness strange/wrong

Maybe because most people are right-handed, its pretty much hardwired in our brains that ALL people are rightys. So it looks odd to everybody else. Think of it this way: If all birds in an area fly, then you introduce a penguin, wouldn't that look somewhat odd to you?

So true. Stuff like that happens all the time to me. Nothing is wrong with being left-handed. In fact, when people tell me they don't see how it's possible for me to write with my left hand, I tell them I don't see how they can write with their right hand.

I remember in school my friends would come up to me and be all like "You're left-handed???" I always thought it was weird because so many of them put an emphasis on it. These were also people I'd known for a long time, which made it awkward that they didn't realize until years later. Lol.

An Arab man freaked out on me at work (Worked in a Bakery) because I went to write on his Son's B-Day cake with my left hand, and I guess that's a big No No over in that part of the world. So he demanded that a right handed person do it.

Hmm... I've read that left-hand is for the "dirty chores" (like taking care of the hygienie of the genitals) in India. Maybe it's same for Arabs. And in some cultures left-handedness is seen as "evil".
