Being left-handed is sometimes quite irritating... u__uHow many of you are left-handed?

When I was in junior high school, on one art lesson my teacher brought her chair and sat next to me, so she could amuse herself by watching how a left-handed person will engrave (in one work, we had to engrave)
That was... awkward...
But she wasn't mean to me.(to ME... but how she treated people, who didn't like to draw, is a different thing... )
And on my last birthday, my mom didn't let me put whipped cream onto my cake, because "it looked so difficult"

I feel your pain. I often got special treatment in my class because I was one of the few left handed people in my school. I get those questions all the time... "You're left handed?" "I didn't know you were left handed!" I got that at least 20 times in one school year. XD
I guess it's because only about 10% of the population is left handed so it's pretty rare.

Actually it doesn't matter whether your left handed or right handed when it comes to neat handwriting. You just need a bit of practice, is all.

It really is wierd how people get so worked up about it lol. Sometimes people i have known for years will watch me do something, then all of a sudden get this surprised expression on their faces as they put two and two together to see that i'm a lefty.

When my husband and I went to our town office to apply for our marriage license, the woman behind the desk watched me as I was signing my name. She smiled and said, "It's nice to see a left hander. At least you know she's in her right mind." Haha.

I am! I remember in church they tried to make me use the left-handed scissors. What a joke! Those scissors were just metal scraps! So they tried to cut my papers and crafts for me cause "I can't cut things with my right hand". Lefty's RULE!!!

Awe. At least your art teacher wasn't being mean. But I totally know about the awkwardness. People will sit and watch because they're awed that I can draw while being left-handed or write for that matter. I've had scissors pulled out of my hands because they didn't think people could use them with their left hand. And I totally know how you feel with people always bringing up the left-handedness. I swear, it's once a week with me. I just want to scream! In fact, I was going to make a comic about that. You obviously beat me to it.
