Uh...back before I knew anything about Wind Waker besides the style, I used to draw what I now consider odd pictures in my notebooks about the game. The style was very accurate, but oftentimes they were pictures of cartoon Link on a cartoon horse seeking cartoon spirit medalions. Heh heh. Anyway, I remembered this while looking through old paperwork in my closet, and I decided to try something like that now, however, like every inspiration I have, it ended up being just a stupid sketch that I half-heartedly colored. Heh.I now know that if Wind Waker Link were to see a horse, he'd probably be rather frightened of it. In this case, the horse has slipped Link over his neck and onto his back (if you can imagine that), and Link doesn't know quite what to do.
The horse should, says I, be somewhat more cartoonish, but honestly, I just like to draw horses this way.
I cannot do backgrounds, and I don't care!

omg Xemnas was HOT for a bad guy, he reminded me of a Cloud, Riku cross or something, I didnt see much of Zexion that I remember, but he was pritty smokin as well XD, and Saix kinda pissed me off X_X lmao so there we have it a pack of hot game guys that I would so steal. you know how many times when I was younger(stilllll do) that I could jump into the TV, or grab something out if it? A LOT! lol

Seriously, I put the controller down and wandered over to the computer for a bit. I felt violated. o.o It was much cooler when Axel had Kairi, he wasn't OUTRIGHT EVIL.
...But, Saix is still somewhat hot. XD Killing him felt good, though.

lmao, yes, verrrrry satisfying, Axel just had Kairi because he wanted to try and get his friend back and what not ya know, I loved that scene though, *re reads what you said and what happened* that was too funny, like me playin with my friends, (yes I can be evil sometimes to them too)

Wow, I love it! I wish I could draw horses. I tried to draw a Ponyta the other week and it totally sucked. >.< Your anatomy on the horse is really good too! And the legs look good! *pets the mane* so cute...

Well, I have a tablet for my computer, and that's what I use for inking now. Do you have one? If you do, I can put up a little tutorial kinda thing if you want or maybe just try to explain it?

Yeah I do have a tablet, but it's pretty basic, does that matter?
It's a Wacom, Graphire 3.
So many people do their outlining with a tablet, I don't understand how the lines come out looking so perfect.
When I tried it looked like I'd done it in my sleep.

The horse looks cartoony enough in my humble opinion. It's true what Eddz said, your animals look great; the lines flow steadily, the shape came out saying "horse" everywhere.. err, if I knew how to express better what I'm trying to say. But I'm not sure if the size of its head wasn't a wee bit too small for the body? Or were it the nostrils' size and shape (too small and too far apart)? Strange, how a tiny detail could disrupt the harmony ._o
Something else was Link not casting a shadow onto the horseback.. while everything else is well-shaded. Forgot that in the rush? You could do so much more with the ideas you have.. sad thing it ended up as a half-hearted project as you said :/
Although.. the background looks nice :3 It's decent and supporting the picture in a way as to make it work as a scene on its own. Not every picture needs a complete environment in the back in order to look finished

I always have horse-head issues XD But the more I hear about them the less they show up, so keep pointing them out
Shadows cast and shading done right are two things that elude me because I've never thought too much about them before until recently. Therefore I'm not too smart when it comes to things like that. Maybe one day I'd like to draw a nice piece of line art and have the smart people color it XD It would look awesome!!

I'm glad I could be of service :3 Shadows - I had my dear trouble with them too. So I practiced until.. well, where did I end up? Spotting shading issues in finished pictures while not being able to get something different than the 'light from above onto a face' thing done XD
