This is what that ocarina bird does on his free time.Quoth the Minish --

What did you use to color that? Colored pencil maybe? It's nice, but I honestly prefer some of your photoshop coloring a little more. This piece is beautiful in its own way, though, to be sure. That minish thing is adorable.
Did you happen to scan the uncolored sketch so you could color it in photoshop? Or are you tired of staring at that piece by now?
It's beautiful, though. Right after the little thing on its back (which is incredibly cute, by the way) the tilt of the head with the eye there is what I'm focusing on first. It looks like the bird is about to turn.
The detail in the feathers is nice, too.
Did you have anything to reference for this particular bird, or were you only going off of previous sketch experience or similar birds in other poses?

I used refferences for the bird's body and coloring, but I made it unique, if that makes any sense XD I know, my Photoshop stuff > my real media stuff, but that makes sense, considering the fact that I started with Photoshop. Before then, everything was left lineart! XD I used colored pencils, by the way ^^

That's a pretty bird. It looks like a Stellar Jay, but it dosent have the black mask. I guess I live in the wrong area...

It's not really a real kinda bird, it's just kinda....roughly based on a blue jay. It's just s'possed ta be that blue bird that carries Link when he uses the Ocarina in Minish Cap ^^

Wow, great coloring. The Blue Jay like bird looks wonderfull (whihc I know is the bird from TMC), the anatomy is great and the way you colored it makes it look superb. Kudos.

There was something wrong with them, I haven\'t really noticed. But Epona IS a low polygon character, she should be worked on and made more realistic, she is a main character.

Epona from the new game? Hmm, it's not the polygon count I'm worried about, although it is so low it looks like a PS2 game to me...it's the anatamy and the animation -- it doesn't look like a real horse if you know how a real horse runs. They'll fix it though, they're Nintendo.

Yes, I ride horses and watch horseracing so I know how they run. Epona in the game does not run realistically, I know what you mean. I sure hope they fix it. But remmeber, these pics and movies are the preliminary pics they show to the public. Im sure the thing is much bettter by now, and Epona should have more polygons by the end of the development.

Yes, they are beautiful. I have only seen a Blue Jay in real life once, when I was coming from school. Seeing them in the city is rare. They are beautiful.
