Am I the only person who liked xros wars? It's not bad, it is one of my favorite seasons along with Tamers and DATA Squad. I still like the other three but seasons 3,5, and 6 seem to stick out to me for some reason.

I think Tai and Takato are my favorite leaders. Tai was the original and tried to protect his little sister, Takato was the first to grow up and face his demons (megidramon).

To be honest, digimon died after greymon and metalgreymon in Xros Wars, was revived when the evolution was FINALLY featured, died again when Tagiru showed his face in the Digimon franchise, then was momentarily revived when Tai and the others arrived.

Just finished Frontier for the first time. It was okay, not entirely bad, but nowhere near as good as the three previous series.
Adventures will always be my favorite, I loved it as a child and even more now. I do like Adventures 02, but I feel like it was only as good as it was because it was in the same world as the first and had the original kids, otherwise I probably wouldn't have liked it as much as I do.
Tamers was great, not a whole of complaints about it, my only one would be Henry's annoying sister who I would like to shoot, multiples times.
Going to start Savers now but from what I have read of it, I don't have high hopes. Then after that I'll start Xros Wars which I'm actually looking a little forward too.

Digion Tamers is and forever will be my favorite <3 I love the main characters adn all the Digimon! The next season I saw was Savers, and I love that one too! Gaomon is soooo cute and fluffy :3 I haven't really tried out the other ones. I watched an episode or two and can't seem to get into them, yet I can rewatch Tamers and Savers again and again

Adventure/02 - Meh, it's the original. There were cool parts, but some of it annoys me. Like the childish 'dark=evil' thing.
Tamers - Interesting. The themes worked, but did they have to show a cutscene every time they used a card? Takato's sissy, but adorkable.
Frontier - First one I saw. The concept of spirits instead of partners is good, but it wasn't used well in-series. Takky and Kouji were the only ones fighting for about 5 episodes.
Data Squad - Some cool characters, but too much to nitpick on. We shall never forgive or forget the lack of goggles.
Xros Wars - Actually pretty good once you stop being annoyed about the DigiXros. You only have to put up with it for 29 episodes, and in the meantime, we get a sensible gogglehead and some tactics.
... Xros Hunters? Overemphasis on Tagiru, but it really was his story, maybe Taiki was awesome and we missed it? Yeah, that's gotta be it. It's just Tagiru's POV.
By the way, they brought back the older protaganists to help out with the DigiQuartz problem, but...

i agree with losing creativity as the digimon series go on. Tamers is like Adventures just with the final evolution fusing with their partner. Frontier is kinda like power rangers, if they don't have their spirits they are helpless just like power rangers without their devices that let them transform(it's name differently each season but i know in first one it's called Morpher).Then Savers i haven't even watched that much but as far as i did it seemed like Adventures with the evolutions reenamed and made digimon that served as old ones digivolutions even tough they looked exactly the same as one introduced before(GeoGreymon looks like Greymon) and teen's we're the heroes. Also BioDigivolution was a rip off Frontier. Also Savers is the only series i haven't watched to the end i gave up on few beginning episodes and watches just few additional later.
As for Xros Wars it's my favorite season so far. Tough it's kinda rip off DNA Digivolution from Adventure 2 i like the concept of adding parts not just fusing so if you want to make a story where a digimon just gives another one it's powers without fusing you have one because like Wargreymon could just Xros with Knightmon to get it's sword and better shield and he would be able to use both. Also the plot was actually original and it wasn't saving the world(until half the season) but rather they just wanted to collect most code crowns to reprogram the world into a peaceful place.But still about the other half it was still good because the villans we're able to use same tactic as the heroes and we're actually strong and had weakness that heroes needed time figuring out unlike in other series while 2 or 3 fights was enough. Didn't like the final battle very much tough.
As for Xros Wars Boy Hunters Who Leap Through Time it's kinda a letdown. it's like pokemon all the way who compared to digimon suck. But i still have to see today's aired episode and wait for it subbed to figure out if i'm gonna continue watching or not.

Well, to be honest I've never seen the entirety of Frontier and Savers, and I haven't even watched Xros Wars. The reason for this being is, firstly, I've grown out of watching Digimon, and secondly, it really just feels like they're 'beating a dead horse'. I grew up with Adventures, and to me it's always felt like THE original Digimon. No supercharged gadgets, no 'awesome new evolutions' or accessories - no gimmicks. It was just a story about eight kids who found themselves chosen to save this newfound world, as well as their own, with the help of their Digimon pals.
So ever since the first two series, it's like the producers are just trying to suck up as much profit from the original Adventures as they can by introducing some 'cool new plot' or Digimon-type. I actually did really like the third series, because it was a genuinely new concept that the show had never explored before. Frontier, however, just seemed as if they'd picked the idea of humans-becoming-Digimon out of one of the first movies, and just overall never appealed to me. And then it started to get ridiculous when they started dressing up all the characters in smarmy accessories and it became necessary to beat the crap out of the adversary, personally, to 'charge up'. I don't know about you, but it's extremely off-putting when none of the lead characters are likeable.
And from the looks of it, Xros is pretty much the same thing when it comes to glossing over the basic "save both worlds" plot, gimmicks and bad fashion sense. I'm never going to watch it, because I'm no longer in the age group that it appeals to, and also it's not the original Adventures that I grew up with. If somehow they brought the original digidestined back into the show, then sure, I'd be all in for it.
I'm not asking to stop the show, because I know there are plenty of people and children that didn't know the first series, or that are avid fans and still watch and enjoy the new Digimon. But as someone who knew the first Digimon and digidestined, I don't like how they keep trying to renew the show with gadgets and gizmos and what-not, and it just seems to be getting worse as they try and keep up with the decade.
I just miss Taichi and the crew.

i agree with the first two opinions(tough i watched Frontier entirely but didn't still like it that much). But for Xros Wars i'm pretty sure all Adventure digidestined we're set to appear in yesterdays Xros Wars Boy Hunters Who Leap Through Time episode but at the site where i watch the episodes it wasn't yet posted.
Also few hints that they are going to appear in Xros Wars BHWLTT was that they appeared in the backround a few times. In the first episode i saw Mimi and Joe.
However i'm actually happy that they are changing show as it goes on.Look at Pokemon, the show didn't change a thing since it started. When i first watched Hoen a few episodes i was like: "Is that it? Is Team Rocket going to ambush Ash and lose every episode now?" and gave up, and they made it even worse in Sinnoh, tough they fixed a bit in Unova.
But i still say the first 2 wore the best and which i grew with. Tough the only way with 2 that i grew up with was with the album i never saw the season 2 until i learned English.

Hmm, well, I still think Digimon and Pokemon are the same when it comes to introducing gimmicks to keep the new generations interested. If anything, Pokemon is better because it still revolves around the original protagonist, rather than introducing an entirely new set of heroes each time the series renews itself.
I just miss the first series characters and style, that's all.

i still don't like pokemon the fact that every episode fells the same. Ash is still a noob,team rocket are still stupid trying to capture legendaries and Ash Pikachu's(tough in Best Wishes they became smarter and finally stopped chasing Ash and even captured in last 2 episodes the legendary Kami trio but we're forced to release them).
I mean Ash i still a 10 years old but he's already traveling through 5th region shouldn't he be like 15 already? And his pikachu is still godamn weak when it can even make Arceus shout "What?" when he got attacked but loses to Panpour who is an water type.
Also if you look into some way you could say every digimon series has Adventure's style. Zero 2 ofcourse is an sequel so it isn't changed that much. Then Tamers they still evolve they still beat the bad guys but the final evolution was changed, and the final villain wasn't a digimon but rather an dead Project(tough i haven't watched some of the final episodes because i wasn't with the idea that much). Digimon Frontier you could say that it's Tamer's Biomerging all over again. But still other than that it wasn't related to other series probably why it is so unpopular. I mostly watched it because of Power Rangers like plot.As for Savers you could say it's just like Digimon Adventure just with teenagers and most of the evolutions weren't had much effort put into for example GeoGreymon was pretty much a Greymon just it wasn't that fat. And the final form of Rosemon looked just a grey and white recolour.

Anyway, the only Digimon series I'm going to like is the first series, because that's where it all started and I grew up with Taichi and the gang. I didn't particularly like the second series, to be straight with you, but I only put up with it because the original crew still hung around. The third series was good, because I really liked the idea of creating your own Digimon and card-swiping. I think it was halfway through this series where I stopped watching, and then I realised how annoying the new characters/series were. I like my Agumon and Gabumon and Patamon and Taichi and Sora and the rest of the original bunch, thanks ^^

I also grew up with digimon adventure before i ever heard of pokemon. And even tough i watched pokemon it as a kid i never watched really enough of it. I remember only few episodes.
As for Tamers i tough it sucks with the idea of card swipping even tough i watched onyl 1 episode then i later returned and it was like my favorite series expect for the D-Reaper saga
