Description I'll be honest, I haven't really been emotionally okay. A lot of things have happened IRL within a short amount of time that it's become almost overwhelming. Anxiety wracks my every nerve as I feel the need to raise multiple mental defense barriers to keep my emotions intact. I've developed tunnel vision in the work environment as a result and find myself zoning out more often than not. This feeling of being in a constant emotional danger has taken a physical toll on my body and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't drained. In my daily battle, I face the grand enemy of Overthinking.

Once a door opens, many more appear and thus begins a spiral of possible future possibilities and outcomes. It's the same as battling a Hydra: when a head is decapitated, three more grow to replace it. I know that this will stay constant throughout my life and taking moments to just pause and reflect on my own time helps to ease a little of the stresses that accompany Overthinking. During that period, the path of a greater future can be seen on the ground, but it's shrouded in a dense fog of possibilities waiting to be unveiled.

I'm currently at that point where the safest route for me is to tank it all out until much of the fog will lift. Until then, all that could be done is to avoid the dark whispers that beckons me to the vicegrips of Overthinking.

Relatable. Especially when it affects one's work.

To be overwhelmed in nothing but your own thought and other burden - with the only solution left being to slog through it all...

I cannot fathom it. But it is a testament to your resolve and strength, making it this far.

Sometimes the worst torture of all is your own mind.
