I'm visiting my family and friends in another part of the country atm.
Among other stuff I have been to lots of flea markets/yard sales/thrift stores with my mom, met some familiar troll faces, been escaping to nature and visited my family's sommer cottage where a birch tree fell down and then I used the bark to improvise a small basket thingy. ^^
My mom also bought a second-hand book about birch bark basketweaving so now I want to make moooore baskets xD
I also got to hang out with deviants Escaron and Vattukatt !
Weeeeh.Oh well, in three days I'm heading back home and I feel really inspired to get back to creating more masks and creaures!

Yes I've been seing lots of willow trees where I live lately, now I can't stop seeing them everywhere xD I used birch because I couldn't find any willow tree at the time. Maybe I gotto try it again ^^

Well, willow branches are also usable for baskets x3 maybe even for a fish trap :3 water goes through and fish and other creatures stay in x3 who are big enough. The ones you don't want can be thrown back and the ones you want do you keep x3

yush x3 that fish trap is fuik in dutch ^^ nothing really looks like it in english xD except maybe f*ck but further idk o 3o i would love to taste some crayfish once tho xD i'm a pescetarian o 3o i don't eat meat but i do eat fish and seafood x3
