Description I was drafted to create the poster for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a play we're doing at school...this is the main graphic; I'll replace it with the finished product...when I feel like it. XP

Also, I swear to Goddess if ANYONE so much as utters one word about how my style looks like Tim Burton's....I'll...I'll...I'LL EXPLODE THEIR HEAD! ...I'll do it. I will.

Okey, my bad. I just wanted to see someone's head explode. I though it would be nice. UH. This poster is really awesome. Something that I would kill for to be able to draw, or put on the walls in my room. You capture the different personalities, Hyde looks like he's a freaky freak, and Jekyll looks like he's just gotten an idea. I bet the play'll be damn nice to. Oh. ^^ And nice style.

Almost forgot... *steals Mr Hyde's hat*

In my AMAZING opinion (humble be damned) this is one of the least Burton-y pieces you've done. (for one thing, have you ever seen a normal human adult drawn by Burton? I know I haven't.
No, this is definitely a fantastic example of the classic Sarah-Style.
When the play comes out, I'm stealing one of these from a classroom door, and you have to autograph it for me ^.^

Oh dear...*picks her organs off from the walls and places them carefully back inside* Remind me never to do that again...O_o;

I never HAVE seen a normal human Burton-adult! The closest he's come is Eddy-scissor fingers...but that's far from normal...Jekyll was so hard to draw, Hyde was a cinch, but drawing normal people is near to impossible! The hand was fun though.^^

Burton doesn't draw normal human adults.
In The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Tales you never see an adult's face.
The closest he's ever drawn would be... oh... Santa.
To my knowledge at least.

Incidently, when do you open?

And you do faces different than Burton. The shape of your faces is wider and your noses different. I like the way you draw noses. What's similar is the way the coat curls, and the general spookiness.

Yeah....the spookyness is a likeness we've got, and the curlies (I've had a love for them all me life! What can I say?)...but you're right, most of my style isn't like Dirge, Vasquez or Burton...it's like ME!^^

Thanks! The top hats were hard...I didn't want it to look like they had a mini-hat or anything...have you ever SEEN a real top-hat? They've got wider brims than you'd think!
