Description Okay, this is seriously a collection of bits and pieces I remember from class, from books, and from my own experience. It's kind of a jumbled up mess. Sorry.

Now, I'm thinking that I'm not going to make many more dark-background tutorials. I mean, dang. *shakes head* All of that white-on-black is starting to get to me...

Oh, I see. Well, when they do, go ahead and send me a link. I don't have time to go through and get another profile on another website, gomen.

Because you're the padawan of outerglow-sama?

or is it because of Tobi?

Obi-quiet In reply to Johnny-Spectre [2008-11-22 23:02:17 +0000 UTC]

...that Padawan thing came totally out of the blue. LOL. I more or less consider myself on the fan-based "knight" level when it comes to Star Wars...I would also be a Gray Jedi.

No, it's just that I tend to be kind of...eccentric sometimes. May not be the greatest example ever.

when you have outerglow-sama's journal in full page, there's a list of deviant peers. she referred to you as her padawan.

Oh, I know. I mean, when she did that, it was kind of random and out of the blue. That's what I meant. Still, I just called her 'Master', so yeah. LOL.

It was just a little harder to read with the light on black...but, more importantly: THE SECRETS OF THE WRINKLES WERE REVEALED!!!!!
Tracing the wrinkles on the picture was super helpful for me. I usually use references for drapery, and I was never sure how to attack the wrinkle issues.

No one has ever explained it to me before. ^_^ This will certainly come in handy!

Jeanne-Lui In reply to Obi-quiet [2008-11-21 19:20:44 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes I need it for draw and illustrate figures. I want to learn this technic. You are already so good with it!

Obi-quiet In reply to Jeanne-Lui [2008-11-21 20:44:36 +0000 UTC]

...me? I just kind of bluff my way through everything. I hate to decide things, so I let the pencil decide for me, and then just try to do damage control.

Um, okay...thanx.

swiftblight In reply to Obi-quiet [2008-11-21 23:04:26 +0000 UTC]

it's a beech. Like a tree. clothing = beech = annoying because tree falls on houses.

yeah... let's go with that.

Ilovetodraw In reply to ??? [2008-11-21 06:22:47 +0000 UTC]

Hahah, nice! I figured out how to draw clothing mostly from just observation... My real trouble with clothing seems to be a) designing clothes in the first place and b) PANTS. They drive me crazy when I don't have a reference XD; Especially... the crotch area >_>;

Yeah, I agree that the dark background is probably not a very good idea but the outlining of the actual pictures is great.

Obi-quiet In reply to Ilovetodraw [2008-11-21 06:57:57 +0000 UTC]

LOL. Thanx, hon. I'm going to get to the pants next.
