My Major work for the spring. If I'm going to graduate I'll have to finish this in time. (I've done it for three weeks now and I have just over four weeks to the deadline..)

As the tittle says it is a chess -set. Dragons were an obvious choise for me. This is the final sketch of the set. It will be done entirely out of copper sheet. (Alot of sawing it has been, yees...) All the wings and hands and heads I've done of 1 mm sheet and the bodies are 2 mm sheet. The plan is to solder the heads and rivet the wigns and hands in place. I'll also ad some kind of base on them. To separate the sides half of them will be silverplated.

The Queen will be around 7 cm high. King is only slighty smaller than the Queen. I know it is traditionally other way around, but I wanted it to be this way because female lizards are bigger than the males. And because the Qeen is the strongest piece in the game. This is the same reason for the Queen carying a sword.

I'll make a board for them also, the squares will be copper and stainles steel.
