Description
This is the second version of my Legend of Dragoon dress sphere Rikku, and is essentially the final product. I redid the entire thing from a trace; this is not the same picture. And this time it's mostly colored by hand with my Prismacolors. The color fidelity from the scan was pretty bad, so I had to mess around with it to make it look ok. The green is the only thing that really suffered.

I changed the scale armor on her skirt a little, added the blue mantle under her pauldrons (no way that would have been wearable >.> ), and gave her big wings little shoulder dodads.

Her legging and bikini top now feature my attempt/ interpretation of the odd skeletal/circuitry pattern printed on LoD spandex. It looks loud and gross that large, doesn't it? In "real life" the print would be a lot smaller, but I can't color that tiny. Her weapons also have those hemi-circular bits, designating them as offensive and defensive, as well as making her Bat'leth (sorry guys, I'm a total loss) a bit more badass.

I think her hair got bigger, which was unintentional, but I did try to fix her face. I'm happy with her mouth but her bangs retreated a bit too far, methinks. Her skin, wing "feather" bits, most of the jewels, and some of her blue accessories were overlaid with gradients in photoshop.

See those three jewels on her torso and her scarf ends? That's old-school Gradient. Marker blending. I was in the mood to blend, what can I say. I will be finishing the color by hand when I find my skin tone markers and my grey one...
